The friendly relationship between them and the warm (yet very polite) contact with us made a very positive impression. The guide shared with us a lot of in-depth knowledge about the traditions, way of life, and culture of the former kingdom of Sikkim, and the driver handled the drives expertly and without stress, which is no small feat on those roads. We always felt safe and comfortable in his car. Our stay in the homestay in North Sikkim was absolutely amazing. The host guided us around the village and gave us a very close insight into the life of the Lepchas.
